The college library started with the establishment of college in 1983 and has been continuously developing since then. The total area of the library is 3000 sq. ft. which contained the reading room and e-library. Presently library has 35121 books, including gifts, references, and books related to competitive exams. In the reading room. 02 newspapers, 20 Journals/Magazines are subscribed for the students. The e-library has 09 computers with internet connection for students where students search for course-related and competitive exam-related resources’ from online open-access resources and also through the national digital library of India. Along with this library has two laser printers and one photocopy machine.

In terms of automation, the library was computerized in 2020 using the SOUL 2.0 college version, developed by INFLIBNET, Gujarat. Presently, the library operates on e-Granthalaya, an Integrated Library Management System provided by the National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. This system facilitates automation of in-house activities,member services, and resource sharing.Noteworthy features of e-Granthalaya include.,

The availability of the library catalogue in the Union Catalogue of Government Libraries.

E-Granthalaya connects 1775 students and all faculty members. All book records have been migrated to e-Granthalaya, and book lending operates through this new software.

Every year free books and stationery are distributed by the library to the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students, admitted in the college, as per the rules of the department of higher education, Govt. of M. P.

Library- Rules

1. Every Student admitted in the college is entitled to issue books from the library.
2. Students must possess their Identity card while visiting the library.
3. Students should sign in the register at the entrance of the library.
4. Students should maintain silence within the library premises.
5. Students should behave courteously and politely with the library staff and cooperate in the smooth management of the library.
6. It is mandatory for every student to take “No Dues” from the library before appearing in the final examination and taking “Transfer certificate” from the College.
7. No book shall be taken out of the library without the knowledge of the librarian or until it has been properly recorded and issued.

Book Issue —Rules

1. All the students will get issued two books for a period of 15 days.
2. Free books and stationary will be provided to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students as per government rules.
3. Books will be issued class wise according to timetable.
4. Every borrower must examine the condition of a book before it is issued to him/her, otherwise in case of mutilation detected later the presumption will be against the borrower.
